Darryn Binder Set for MotoAmerica Superbike Move With Warhorse HSBK Ducati
    Road Race Report

Darryn Binder's first season in MotoAmerica has already delivered a championship. Now, the former MotoGP rider is set to take on the series' premier class.

Binder will move to the Quad Lock MotoAmerica Superbike Championship in 2027 with Warhorse HSBK Ducati, joining six-time Superbike champion Cameron Beaubier as his teammate.

The news surfaced somewhat unconventionally, with Binder's move appearing in a Facebook video from the team's 2026 season-ending dinner before being subsequently confirmed by MotoAmerica broadcaster Greg White and Binder's crew chief Seb Fontanella on Instagram.

Binder's promotion comes after a standout rookie campaign in the United States. The South African arrived in MotoAmerica following a 13-year career in the Grand Prix paddock and promptly established himself as the rider to beat in Supersport aboard the Celtic/Economy Lube + Tire/Warhorse Ducati Panigale V2.

Binder secured the 2026 Supersport championship at Circuit of The Americas, sweeping both races to put the title beyond reach with a round still remaining. He currently leads the final standings with 381 points.

His teammate will be Beaubier, who joined to Warhorse HSBK Ducati in 2026 after winning the 2025 MotoAmerica Superbike championship. The six-time champion missed several rounds following a shoulder injury at Road America, but returned at COTA and immediately put the Ducati back in victory lane, winning the opening Superbike race of the weekend.

The pairing gives Warhorse HSBK Ducati a formidable combination for 2027: the experience and championship pedigree of Beaubier alongside one of the most intriguing newcomers to the Superbike class.
