BREAKING: Kristian Daniel Jr. Signs With Tech3 KTM for Moto3
    Road Race Report

American teenager Kristian Daniel Jr. is headed to the Moto3 World Championship, signing with Red Bull KTM Tech3 for the next two seasons.

The 17-year-old has spent the past several seasons building his career through the European talent pipeline, competing in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup while gaining additional experience in the FIM JuniorGP World Championship.

Daniel Jr. has emerged as one of the United States' most promising young road racing prospects, finishing fifth in this year's Rookies Cup championship after scoring multiple podium finishes and claiming his first career pole position at the season finale in Austria.

The move to Tech3 marks the biggest step yet in a career that has been built almost entirely around reaching the Grand Prix paddock.

Daniel Jr. also made several appearances in JuniorGP Moto3 competition this season, including a top-10 result on his debut at Barcelona after stepping in as a replacement rider.

His progression through the KTM-supported Rookies Cup has now earned him a place on the Moto3 World Championship grid, putting an American rider directly into KTM's Grand Prix development structure.

The signing is particularly significant for U.S. road racing, which has struggled to establish a consistent pipeline of riders into the lightweight Grand Prix class in recent years.

For Daniel Jr., however, the focus now shifts from earning the opportunity to making the most of it.

In 2027 and 2028, an American teenager will line up on the Moto3 World Championship grid—and Kristian Daniel Jr.'s Road to MotoGP is officially underway.
