2026-06-12

Loris Baz returns to the MotoAmerica paddock to fill in for the injured Cameron Beaubier aboard the Warhorse HSBK Ducati Flo4Law Panigale V4 R, starting at Ridge Motorsports Park on June 26-28.
Loris Baz is coming back to MotoAmerica.
The popular Frenchman will return to Warhorse HSBK Ducati Flo4Law for Round 5 of the 2026 Quad Lock MotoAmerica Superbike Championship at Ridge Motorsports Park on June 26-28, stepping in for defending champion Cameron Beaubier, who is sidelined with a shoulder injury.
Beaubier crashed out of Race 1 at Road America and was unable to finish out the weekend with what turned out to be a dislocated shoulder to blame. Following a medical evaluation, the six-time MotoAmerica Superbike champion will undergo surgery and begin rehabilitation immediately. We'll follow up with details as soon as they're available.
Enter Baz. The 32-year-old previously rode for the Warhorse HSBK Ducati squad in 2021 and 2024, scoring multiple podiums on the Panigale V4 R and quickly becoming one of the most popular riders in the paddock. He will complete a private test with the team before lining up for his race return in the Pacific Northwest.
“First of all, I want to wish Cam a speedy and complete recovery,” Baz said. “I’ve been through a lot of injuries myself, so I know how difficult it is to be sidelined and watch someone else ride your bike.”
“I’m incredibly grateful to the Warhorse HSBK Ducati Flo4Law team, Ducati North America, and all of the team’s sponsors for giving me this opportunity. Coming back to this team means a lot to me. We shared so many great memories together over two seasons, and I’ve always considered this team family.”
“I’m ready. I’ve been riding, testing, and training, just waiting for the right opportunity. My goal is to help the team score as many points as possible, enjoy being back on the grid, and give it my all. I’m extremely thankful for the opportunity and can’t wait to get on the bike on Friday at Ridge Motorsports Park.”
The 2026 Quad Lock MotoAmerica Superbike Championship resumes June 26-28 at Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, Washington.
