MotoAmerica to Drop Barber Motorsports Park from 2027 Calendar
    Road Race Report

Barber Motorsports Park has confirmed that MotoAmerica will not return to the Alabama circuit in 2027, bringing an end to a relationship that has spanned more than a decade.

In a statement published on its social media channels, Barber Motorsports Park expressed disappointment with the decision, while thanking the championship for its longstanding presence at the Birmingham-area facility.

“We’re disappointed that MotoAmerica has decided not to return to Barber Motorsports Park in 2027,” the statement read. “We’ve enjoyed a tremendous relationship for more than a decade and greatly appreciate the high level of motorcycle competition the series has brought to our many fans. We wish MotoAmerica continued success and welcome the opportunity to work together in the future.”

The statement was issued by Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum Executive Director Brian Case.

No specific reason for the decision has been publicly disclosed, and it remains unclear whether the move represents a permanent departure or simply a change to the championship's 2027 schedule.

Barber Motorsports Park has been a longstanding stop on the MotoAmerica calendar, with its 2.38-mile, 17-turn layout serving as a regular venue for the series and a popular destination for motorcycle racing fans.

The development marks another significant change to the championship's calendar as preparations continue for the 2027 season. Further clarification from MotoAmerica regarding the decision and its replacement plans, if any, has not yet been announced.
