Beaubier Sidelined: Five-Time Champ Out After Shoulder Surgery
2026-06-13

Cameron Beaubier confirmed on Instagram he underwent shoulder surgery Thursday and will be sidelined from the Warhorse HSBK Ducati Flo4Law effort, opening the door for Loris Baz to step in at The Ridge.
Cameron Beaubier is heading to the sidelines. The five-time MotoAmerica Superbike Champion confirmed via Instagram on Thursday that he had undergone surgery on his shoulder and will be out of action for the foreseeable future, ruling him out of his Warhorse HSBK Ducati Flo4Law campaign.
The injury stems from what looked like an otherwise minor crash at Road America earlier this month, but the fallout was anything but minor.
"I had to get my shoulder fixed on Thursday and going to be out for a while," Beaubier wrote. "A pretty harsh outcome for how small the crash was at Road America but that's racing. Bummed to let @warhorse.racing down but we will be back soon. 👊🏻"
With Beaubier out, the Warhorse HSBK Ducati Flo4Law squad has moved quickly to plug the gap. As we reported yesterday, Frenchman Loris Baz is returning to the MotoAmerica paddock to fill in aboard the Panigale V4 R, starting at Round 5 at Ridge Motorsports Park (June 26-28).
It's a brutal turn in a season that had Beaubier in the title hunt early, and another reminder that even the smallest crashes in this paddock can carry the heaviest consequences. For now, the focus shifts to recovery — and to Baz keeping the #1 plate warm.
